Brief History
Formerly Bowen Family Cemetery, Mount Zion Park Cemetery is an active cemetery located on the Southwest corner of North Fairfield and Indian Ripple Roads. The township took over management of cemetery in October of 1961. And in 1980 when the City of Beavercreek was incorporated, Beavercreek township deeded the cemetery to city.

Mount Zion Park Cemetery is the largest cemetery in the City of Beavercreek, and still has ample room for lots and graves to be sold.

The Sexton for all the cemeteries that the city manages has an office at this cemetery, and is available to take calls, assist in finding loved ones, makes sales as well as answer general questions.

The earliest burial there is Sarah Freeman in 1815.
