Boards & Commissions
The City Council is assisted and advised by several standing citizen Boards and Commissions. In addition to standing Boards and Commissions, special ad hoc citizen task forces and committees are periodically established by the City Council to study, advise and assist the City concerning specific topics and issues. Members of Boards and Commissions are community residents and registered voters who volunteer their time and are appointed by the City Council to a term of office. Appointments to fill Board and Commission vacancies are normally made each February.
Citizens interested in serving on a board or commission are encouraged to fill out an application which will be kept on file and considered when a vacancy occurs. Contact:
