Vicki S. Giambrone was elected to Beavercreek City Council for a second term commencing in January 2012. She has served as Vice Mayor and Mayor during her six years on council.
For the past 23 years, she has worked for Dayton Children’s Hospital where she currently serves as the vice president for strategic partnerships and business development. In her role, she manages the hospital’s strategic planning, business development, physician alignment, referral physician and community hospital relationships as well as marketing; philanthropy, public affairs and outreach.
She is a very active community advocate and has served on many boards over the past 30 years. Currently she serves as a member of the Board of Trustees for Pink Ribbon Girls and Greene Inc. Among the numerous awards she has received are the Greeneview High School Alumni Hall of Fame; Dayton Daily News Top Ten Women; Distinguished Alumni Award from the University of Dayton; the Dayton YWCA as a Woman of Influence; Woman of the Year for the Southwest Ohio Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and Communicator of the Year from the Public Relations Society of America, Dayton Chapter. She is also a volunteer cancer coach; working with newly diagnosed cancer patients helping them navigate the disease and treatment and is a nationally recognized speaker on the issues facing Cancer patients and survivors.
A two-time graduate of the University of Dayton with a Bachelor of Arts, 1981 and Masters, Public Administration, 2001, Vicki is also a graduate of the Leadership Dayton and Leadership Miami Valley programs and earned fellow status in the American College of Healthcare Executives and is board certified in health care administration.
Vicki and her husband Jack have made their home in Beavercreek for the past 27 years and are the proud parents of daughter Quintina, a graduate of Carroll High School and George Washington University and her husband Russ and grandparents of Ryker.
