GENERAL NATURE OF WORK:
This is semi skilled work responsible in assisting the day-to-day activities
of the kitchen. An employee in this class reports directly to the Banquet
Manager for daily instruction, schedule and general duties.
EQUIPMENT & JOB LOCATION:
This position requires general knowledge of all hourly positions in the
banquet and beverage department. This position requires general knowledge
of the beverage cart and bartending equipment.

training and supervision of all banquet and service employees under the

request of the Banquet Manager.

Assist
Banquet Manager in the planning, scheduling and running of service
training programs.

Banquet Manager in monthly beverage inventories.

Compile
weekly linen orders under the direction of the Banquet Manager.

Responsibly
service alcohol products to customers following the state and federal
laws.

P.O.S systems and responsibly handles daily transactions.

Parks, Recreation, and Culture Intern
Seasonal
(Salary: $9.36 per hour)
The City of Beavercreek, Ohio is currently
accepting applications for the position of Parks Student Intern. This is a
seasonal part-time intern position. Applicants must be able to prepare
weekly press releases and marketing for the Parks, Recreation and Culture
Department, oversee the adult softball program, supervise seasonal staff,
work with volunteer organizations as needed, organize annual youth tennis
tournament, supervise summer concert series, coordinate special events,
assist with the Fourth of July festivities, and other activities that focus
on the individual student’s skills and abilities.
GENERAL NATURE OF WORK:
This is administrative work in assisting
with the recreational activities and programs in the Parks, Recreation, and
Culture Department. An employee in this class is responsible for a variety
of recreation program related tasks. Duties are performed under the
direction of the Recreation Program Supervisor, Department of Parks,
Recreation, and Culture.
EQUIPMENT & JOB LOCATION:
This

transportation vehicles.
The primary work site is the Municipal Maintenance Facility and the

Cooks at the Beavercreek Golf Club. Prior kitchen experience is a must. Banquet
prep experiences are a plus. This position will require use of kitchen skills,
i.e. meat cutting, hot line service, sauces, etc. Must be available weekends and
holidays. The City of Beavercreek’s Golf Club is a full service facility with
both a la carte and banquet services for up to 230 guests. Cook hours will vary
from 0 to 35 hours per week based upon the club’s business. Pay range is
$7.90-$10.75/hr.
