CITY SURPLUS ITEMS UP FOR AUCTION
The City of Beavercreek is
now selling surplus items on the website GovDeals.com. Govdeals.com is a
non-profit website designed to provide government agencies a mechanism to
sell assets that are no longer useful in their operations. Through
GovDeals, the City will be able to efficiently and effectively dispose
surplus items, which will generate funds for replacement assets or other
capital purchases.
GovDeals operates as an
open and competitive auction, with a specific date set for the close of
the auction. The public is permitted to bid on the items listed on
Govdeals. An advanced search will allow residents to sort through bids by
city and state.
