Beavercreek selected as one of the Top 100 cities in America

The City of Beavercreek was declared a winner of the Money Magazine Best Places to Live 2007 and selected as one of the Top 100 cities in America. Beavercreek was one of only six Ohio cities to receive this honor.

Beavercreek, along with the other recognized cities, has “everything any family could want - economic opportunity, good schools, safe streets, things to do and a sense of community,” according to the Money website.

“This honor is an outstanding reflection on the citizens of our community, as well as the many amenities available to our residents and visitors,” said City Manager Mike Cornell.

The Money survey studied 2, 876 cities across the United States with populations between 7,500 and 50,000. The selection process examined extensive data from these categories: financial, housing, education, quality of life, leisure and culture, weather, health, and neighborhood statistics. Interviews with community leaders and residents, as well as city visits, determined the final winners.

Beavercreek placed 84th on the top 100 list.

The story will be featured in the August 2007 issue of Money magazine. Click here for more information.
