The Creekside Trail

The Creekside Trail is the stretch of the bike path that runs through Beavercreek.  The entire trail extends from the Riverside area in Montgomery County to Xenia, where it connects to other bike paths that run through southwest Ohio.  Users can hop onto the Trail at Fifth Third Gateway Park on Dayton-Xenia Road near the I-675 bridge, or at Beavercreek Community Park on Factory Road, home to the Angel's Pass Girl Scout Memorial.
The Trail is for bikers, rollerbladers, joggers and walkers.  Bikers should yield to all other users.  Use only non-motorized forms of transportation.  (Motorized wheelchairs are allowed.)  Joggers, walkers and runners may enjoy the softer surfaces along the edge of the paved trail.
Stay to the right unless passing another user.  Please announce when passing someone - "Passing on your left."  Pass with caution.   Observe the speed limit and heed all signs.  Use great caution when crossing roads.  Move off of the Trail when stopped - staying on the Trail to rest or repair a flat tire is hazardous.   Always yield to law enforcement, maintenance and emergency vehicles.
Respect private property.  Clean up after your pet.  Don't litter - trash cans are placed in various locations along the Trail.  Read and observe all rules and regulations posted at staging areas.
To make your "Trail blazing" more pleasant, know your limitations and keep your mode of transportation in good condition.  Wear proper clothing and safety attire.  Don't forget the sunscreen and water bottles.
If you should need assistance, call 911 and ask for a park ranger or police officer.
