Police Vacation House Check
The vacation house check is a service that is provided by the Police Department. When you are on vacation for multiple days, the COPPs (Citizens on Preventive Patrol) will do a security check on your residence. This involves a periodic drive-by of your residence to check for conditions that may appear out of the ordinary. This does not guarantee that a residence will not be vandalized or broken into; it is a reassurance program to better pinpoint a time of occurrence if your home is criminally violated.
Please print and complete the Vacation House Check Form below at least one week prior to your absence and drop off the form at the Department’s communications window or mail it to the Beavercreek Police Department (1388 Research Park Drive, Beavercreek, 45432). If you are leaving within one week, call 426-1225 to schedule a check. Your residence will automatically be removed from our house check list on the date you provide. If you return early or late please contact the communications center at (937) 426-1225 so the date adjustment can be made.
