CITY OF BEAVERCREEK RESIDENTS NEEDED FOR
INVESTMENT COMMITTEE

Members must be electors of the City. A member of the committee shall not hold any other elected or appointed office in the City of Beavercreek or be an employee thereof. Members shall serve without compensation. Positions begin July 1, 2010 unless otherwise noted. Candidates must have experience in investing, banking, and government finance related work. Candidates must also have strong oral communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with committee members, dealers, brokers and the municipal financial community. The committee will meet at least once every quarter to review the portfolio in terms of security, type, risk and investment return.

Applications may be obtained from the Clerk of Council, City of Beavercreek, City Hall, 1368 Research Park Dr. Beavercreek, OH 45432 or filled out online. All applications must be returned by 5:00 P.M. Friday, June 18, 2010 for consideration by Beavercreek City Council.

YOUTH DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE

Members must be electors of the City. A member of a board or commission shall not hold any other elected or appointed office in the City of Beavercreek or be an employee thereof. Members shall serve without compensation. Positions begin July 1, 2010 unless otherwise noted. The primary functions and duties of the Committee shall be to organize teams to implement and promote youth programs and service-learning projects that will serve the needs of the community. The Committee shall make recommendations to the City Council and City Manager on youth community service volunteering and other matters concerning younger residents of the City. The senior members shall consist of parents of school age children or community leaders who reside in either the City of Beavercreek or Beavercreek Township. The meetings are held the second Thursday of each month at the Maintenance Facility at 4:00 p.m.
